Antique Sterling Silver Dessert Service for 12 Knives Forks Allen & Darwin Sheffield Asprey London Sculpture circa 1820A fine antique cased sterling silver fruit dessert service for 12 people, made by Allen & Darwin, Sheffield & retailed by Asprey London, dated 1902. Silver weight 34 oz (964 grams)The set made totally of solid sterling silver; the handles, blades & fork ends are solid sterling throughout. The set comprising 12 dessert knives and 12 matching forks & housed in a gilt red leather case lined with cream satin. Each knive & fork are hallmarked to both the
