Chateau Talbot 'Connetable Talbot', Saint-Julien, France 2020 Malvasia - Trebbiano cardamom and herbsThis is one of the best second wines of the Mdoc. Conntable saw the light of day in the sixties. It has benefited over the years from all the care given to the vineyard and increasingly severe selections. Like its predecessor Chateau Talbot, this is a classic, elegant wine with a clear, well designed structure and a long, fresh finish. An elegant blend of 40 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 60 % Merlot, aged in French oak for 15 months, with 15% new oak.
