2023 Wills Wine Côtes du Rhône, France Gaja partially de-stemmed and foottrodden inA returning cuve, first produced in 2020. Fruit was purchased from the same sites as before, one being Syrah (10yo) planted on a clay limestone terrace backing onto forest as the foothills of Seguret. The other site for the Grenache and Cinsault (60yo), a more classical southern terroir; on the flats below the Syrah. Galets rouls, with deep clay. Vinified whole bunch in a concrete tank. A low and slow ferment, with a gentle maceration. Ageing in 8yo
