2023 Antoine Chevalier Coteaux Champenois Les Crochots Furlani marl and limestone soils atSourced from the limestone rich Les Crochots parcel in the Cte des Bar, this is still Chardonnay vinified with the same micro precision Chevalier brings to his Champagnes. Whole cluster pressing, native yeast fermentation, and levage in older barrels keep the wine firmly in a reductive, mineral first register. The 2023 shows taut citrus and white stone fruit, subtle florals, and a chalk saturated line that reflects the Kimmeridgian marl of the site.
