It is designed to mount on the engine side of the dash panel. a ground terminal and Dzus fasteners are supplied. This Backing Plate Kit is for use with MSD Electronic Points Box PN 8106 or PN 81063MSD only. It is intended for use with thin sheet metal (dash panels). It is NOT for rigid mounting applications.
