Vina Cobos Volturno 2020 Arrigo mint and blood orangeThe 2020 Cobos Volturno blends 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc from old vines planted in Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo. A dark purple wine, the reserved nose reveals currant and cassis marmalade notes along with a subtle ash and cedar layer. Hints of pepper and orange peel join in. Dry, supple and velvety on the palate, the fine grained, plush tannins lead to a muscular and well fitted mouthfeel, lasting long with a ripe fruit flavor.
