The vest has a zipper and a buckle, so securing it after putting it on is easy. Lots of adjustment thanks to side straps. The vest was designed not to move or slip in a seated position, and is comfortable to wear for long periods. The sides are made of a thin elastic material to allow free movement at all times. The vest belongs in the PDF group, so technically is not a lifejacket.
