Large Vintage Oil Painting Garden Landscape Ernest Forbes 1950 English jewellery strawberries and leaves on aA beautiful landscape painting depicting a garden in late winter The trees are still bare of their leaves and the early bulbs are starting to flower So many varying shades of green in this artwork beautiful! Oil on canvas stretched over a timber frame The frame is covered in a green fabric most likely linen Signed lower right and dated 1950 Painted by English artist Ernest Forbes (1879 1962) and is most likely a Yorkshire garden as he was living there
