Trillium oostingii Camden Purple U lindheimeri 'Austin City Limits' isWhen we first visited the famed South Carolina Trillium oostingii site in 2005, prior to its naming, we were fascinated to see that a tiny (<1%) of the yellow flowered population had purple flowers, with absolutely no sign of any intermediates. It's taken us seventeen years of growing these from seed to have enough of the rare purple forms to share, and our supply is very limited. The 8" tall size and mottled leaf pattern are identical to the normal
