Gordon & MacPhail Linkwood 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Backbone Bourbon Indonesian cassia and Nigerian gingerThis speymalt Scotch from Linkwood distillery has been aged for a quarter century. Following its maturation at Linkwood, Gordon & MacPhail bottled it for the Distillery Labels series with a cool retro label. The nose gives notes of cinnamon rolls, nutmeg, sesame snaps, treacle and cherry. The palate serves up dates, ginger, chocolate and grassy malt. At 86 proof, it drinks easy and shows off it's extreme age.
