2019 Domaine Mark Angeli Ferme de la Sansonniere Les Fouchardes Blanc, Loire, France Aston 100% Souvignier Gris (PiWi varietyNot eligible for case discount 100% Chenin Blanc from 45 year old vines on clay and schist farmed biodynamically. Les Fouchardes comes from a single vineyard of the same name. The Angeli are the only ones to cultivate it and thus declare it as a monopole on the label. Grapes are direct pressed then fermented and aged for two years in double barriques. A small amount of natural volcanic sulfur is added at bottling.
