Dave accomplished something rarely done outside of orchids, by crossing a rain lily (zephyranthes) with an Aztec lily (sprekelia) and an amaryllis (hippeastrum). xHowardara 'Riley Kate' has the appearance of an 8" tall screaming red rain lily.
