2023 Henri Germain et Fils Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge, Cote de Beaune, France DILETTA TONELLO The Chardonnay is sourced fromPinot Noir Vineyard Area: The Chassagne Rouge comes from gently sloped vines in Les Battaudes near Santenay (first planted in 1961). Soil: Deep clay limestone soils Elevation: 225 meters Exposure: Southeast Vinification: Manual harvest, no added yeasts or enzymes, cold and very slow fermentations (late occurring Malo) Maturation: 18 months in barrels of previous wines, fined and filtered only when necessary Wines arrive mid to late November, 2025.
