2024 Weingut Wasenhaus, Weissburgunder, Baden, Germany Kurosawa Aged in barrel (100% new)Entry level Pinot blanc from loess soil, on plots south of Staufen. Pressed as whole cluster and fermented in used barrels from different size. Aged for one year on the full lees in barrel and another half year in stainless steel on its entire lees. The '24 bottling was "pumped" up a touch with the old vine "Mhlin" cask (not made in '24) as quantities were too small and limited. vom Boden
