It will perform quite well in part shade

The small flowers range from pale to medium yellow with contrasting lips ranging from bronze to purple
Lycoris rosea Cardinals Robe Europe Dryopteris 'The King' is aLycoris x rosea 'Cardinal's Robe' is a Phil Adams cross of Lycoris sprengeri 'Hayward' and Lycoris radiata. The 18" cinnamon stalks are topped for us, starting in mid August with up to six, scarlet orange, spidery flowers. AS the flowers age, a small blue tip appears at the end of each petal. For us, the foliage emerges in late October, and grows all winter.
