2024 Yann Bertrand Saint Amour 'Les Bambins', Beaujolais, France Lamoresca VINEYARD: 35 to 40 yearsFrom the single vineyard La Cte de Besset, 40 and 70 year old bush trained vines. The blue stones from mica schist and sandstone scree in this parcel lend this particular bottle a robust and spicy dimension. Cold carbonic maceration for 20 days. Elevage of 50% in 600L demi muids, and 50% in 225L for 8 months. No fining, filtering or SO2. A charming wine, more of the huntsman side of Gamay.
