2023 | Joseph Drouhin Amoureuses | Chambolle-Musigny Patrick Noel made from Muscat of AlexandriaThe 2023 Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru is a more tightly wound Les Petit Monts, but it unfolds with touches of dark berry fruit, cola and wilted rose petal, with more blue fruit surfacing with aeration. The palate is medium bodied with succulent ripe tannins. Some wood tannins are evident but will be subsumed with time. This is a Les Amoureuses that will require time, with light peppery notes toward the rounded, quite persistent finish. 95
