especially the stacked soles (many layers of hide I believe) making them feel super sculptural--and also as if having very much absorbed the life of their onetime wearer

but I think vice versa too

Set of 24 Blocks retablo on tin This one I am prettyYou know I love my color cubes, and this is the most loved lot of them I believe I've ever seen, to the point where a few show only the very faintest traces of paint. I love how each color of paint wore wears differently, due to its particular properties, with the red and white diagonal sides showing the most wear of all. To my eye super beautiful. Blocks measure 1 1 8" cubed. Set of 24 as shown.
