Her hand painted golden necklace makes her feel even more like a princess, with pale blue ribbons and sash to boot. Alone, I would love her, but it is the inclusion of half her mother in the frame that makes this just right to my eye formally compositionally, but also in terms of the dynamic her presence introduces, as if this child were midway through the process
