I must say I find this unusual old pair of German cutout wooden figures quite compelling

The pistol (top) shows some detail on one side drawn in black crayon

which included a wonderful collection of mid-century and contemporary ceramics

Hard to beat the carved profile of his face, but the shapes of his arms, legs and especially those feet are pretty great too, and I love the clunky screws and bolts attaching them to his torso and red paint too.
