This was developed into a phenomenally potent rally car, of which this is one of the last to be built. The car had great success in rallies in the Far East, driven by Stig Blomqvist, Hannu Mikkola and John Bosch, including wins in the Hong Kong to Beijing Rally in 1985 and 1986.
