There is very fine mid-palate density to the much bigger and more powerful flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the citrusy and bone-dry finale that offers impressive persistence

It’s delightful now and should drink fantastically over the coming 12-15 years

The wine is medium bodied

Etienne Sauzet, Bourgogne Blanc Vintage:2018 youthfully austere and balanced finale(aged half in wood, half in steel with only ~10% of the portion in wood being new from Puligny vines). A very fresh and pretty nose combines notes of pear, apple and citrus where the latter element is also present on the racy, intense and lightly stony flavors that conclude in a bitter lemon inflected finish. This is a quality Bourgogne and worth checking out plus it will age.
