This was the first thing I found at Brimfield this past week

Wonderful Presumed Antique Small Folk Art Watercolor of Woodwose (?) on Laid Paper wooden ramp walker whose work I've always gotOne of my very favorites of the week, which I take for a Woodwose (akin to Sasquatch Bigfoot) or some similar sort of mythical creature and a super endearing one! I found this watercolor on laid digging through a pile that included mostly earlier 19th century European ink and watercolor drawings, and while not completely certain I would guess that is from whence he came too, though he feels about as contemporary and immediate as it gets!
