Laurent Ponsot, Clos Vougeot Cedre Vintage:2019 Just a little stringy/briary on(cedar tree). A very ripe yet still agreeably fresh nose combines notes of black cherry, cassis and plum liqueur with those of warm earth and discreet anise nuances. The delicious and relatively refined larger scaled flavors possess a caressing mid palate texture that contrasts somewhat with the muscular, youthfully austere and sneaky long finale. This is presently quite firm and is going to required extended patience.
