Hair Wreaths and Ruffles Everywhere, Very Finely Painted C. 1850s Watercolor on Card 1920 printed matter looking uncomfortable and altogether relatableMaybe not exactly my typical style, but this (and a second by the same maker listed separately) is amazing hard to understand scale from photos, but it took me getting out a magnifier to confirm this as a watercolor rather than a print, it is so finely and precisely executed. Perhaps there were once four of them, representing the four seasons these two, flowers in their hair and everywhere, clearly visions of spring. Mid 19th century, I am guessing
