Very Finely Carved Antique Wooden Hand marthe but I think it's soTiny, but pretty exquisite I think, I'd guess from a very old Santos figure or similar. A great deal of care was invested in carving then painting it (showing now a mix of brownish red and gold) with beautifully tapering fingers, painted fingernails, and even fine lines carved into the palm of the hand. I also really love that the weight of hand itself is enough to outweigh the arm and post, so that it will rest with palm on the table, arm up. Quite a
