The 2000 La Dominique is a wine that I thoroughly enjoyed out of barrel but never tasted in bottle
elegant and beautifully layered nose offers up notes of rose petal
Even more impressive is the fulsome nose of iris
Michel Lafarge, Meursault Blanc other_regions_italy The adaption of some of(from Vignes Blanches, Cargouillot and En Marcausse, all of which are near the Volnay border). There is a smoky component to the ripe aromas of citrus confit, hazelnut and acacia blossom. The succulent but solidly intense medium weight flavors also possess fine concentration and volume before concluding in an attractively textured, sappy and sneaky long finale. Lovely.
