This wonderful little wooden stool shows at least 150 years of love and several layers of paint below its current (perfect) orange

I know nothing of its origins

and the carved out eye holes

Gorgeous, Finely Handwoven Cream and Blue Striped Large Wool Textile handmade marbles I can't imagine this pieceI don't buy a lot of textiles, but when I do it's when I find something really special, like this one; if I had to imagine to absolutely perfect bedspread throw everything blanket, especially for someone like me living on a coast (or just channeling the ocean), this would be it. It was woven in two large panels then hand stitched together, with hand stitched end seams as well. Very finely made of very high quality wool in the perfect creamy white,
