The dealer I purchased this old blown glass vial from noted it as 18th century

but based on other works I believe likely dates to the 1940s

eliminating marbles as you go and dropping them in the recessed corners

I love the geometric black patterning against the shiny gold

Coming across it the other day in Maine, I just loved seeing the words "talking machine" in perfect sans serif capital letters, and all the better combined with "Alura" and two stars in between. The first thing it made me think of, actually, was artificial
