and with a little research I've identified the signers as a couple from Worchester
no cracks and just a few small surface chips
but I am doubtful that this is meant to be him--and would guess this painting dates to the 1920s or so

Ink on nice weight cream paper, with graphite visible under the ink as all that detail needed some careful sketching first! Paper: 12 3 4" x 9 7 8". Very good condition.
