Comtes Lafon, Volnay other_regions_italy There is a little meatiness(from young vines in Santenots). Ripe aromas include those of black cherry liqueur, kirsch, anise and a hint of violet. Here too the medium weight flavors are rich, concentrated and velvety with equally good minerality adding a similar sense of lift on the slightly longer and firmer finale. Moreover, this well made effort possesses very good development potential, which is to say out to a decade. This too is worth considering.
