It is an oil on canvas, painted in 1981. This painting belongs to the private collection of Myriam Nader Salomon. Charles Sal was born in March 1943 in Bombarbolis, Haiti. He joined the Centre d'art in 1963 with the help of noted Haitian artist, Wilson Bigaud. Sal's work is referred to in many Haitian art books.
