WPA Style Terra Cotta Unsigned Kneeling Nude folk art carriage 16 p plus endpapersThis terra cotta sculpture is unsigned, but she certainly looks 1940s WPA era in style, lushly sensual and full of force. Great all the way around, in very good condition, terra cotta with a bit of a pinkish tone. Draped at the waist, which I think has the effect of heightening her erotism. Found in Maine, I don't know her origins but I think she's really fabulous. 14" t x 8 1 4" x 8 1 4" and in very good condition, no chips, cracks or other issues.
