Rebman's Carnival Supplies, Lancaster, PA Vintage Employee Canvas Apron painting of pineapples an old painted bobberI didn't know anything about Rebman's when I found this work apron, not far from Lancaster, but have since learned it was quite the institution started by Earl Rebman in 1909 (making candy at home for holiday sale) and by 1919 selling Christmas merch from a wheelbarrow in Penn Square. Lots about its history here. In addition to holiday merchandise (including x mas year round) Rebman's developed a party supply business, selling everything from pinball
