19th Century Rewards of Merit - Group One (Paper, c. 1830s-60s) painted plaster sculpture like a halo of light)The existence of rewards of merit makes me glad, giving from teachers to students to affirm their good efforts, as does the fact that people saved them. Last weekend I found a large collection of them in a box in Midcoast Maine quite a nice variety of them, which I've divided into three groups, all listed today.
