Sometimes the pewter or silver bottoms of flasks such as these were removable

Becher-esque Old Almost Square House Photo (with Child on Porch) wooden wall pocket folk art watercolors and theoremThe first thing I thought upon finding this photo was of the Becher's straight on photographs of houses and water towers. Then I noticed the child sitting on the porch, and the beam extending across the grass at a diagonal, disrupting its stoic ness in a great way. With a small squarely positioned stool at the feet of the child, too, which is formally just right. To my eye, so good. 3 x 3 3 8 and in very good condition.
