Gerard Raphet, Morey Saint Denis Rouge Vintage:2021 The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon RedThe cool and airy nose is earthier still with its array of red and blue pinot fruit where a touch of crushed fennel lurks in the background. There is fine volume to the appealingly textured middleweight flavors thanks mainly to the relatively fine grained tannins that also shape the moderately firm and more complex finale that is just a bit firmer. This is a good Morey villages that should repay 5 to 8 years of keeping.
