I picked up this tin because I think the graphics are great

I'd be very tempted to use this to make many many dozens of little bird cookies

the lower one finely braided before looping and wrapping and securing with a couple of stitches

so I'm selling as a pair

Charming Antique Embroidered Quilt Block with Bird and Pointing Hand jointed marionett I picked up this tinHow nice it would be to have a whole patchwork of squares embroidered as wonderfully as this one. Terrific woven fabric too, which I think I'd be correct in describing as a sort of loosely woven damask. And the back as satisfying as the front! I'd call this a drawing as well as a textile and frame it up straight away (or pin it straight to the wall.) 5 1 2" x 5 3 8", good condition, not fragile, just some fraying around the edges, stable.
