How and When First Teeth Come, Antique Bookplate Print Native American carvinh Nicholas II (Emperor of Russia)I havent been able to determine the book this plate came from (p. 646) but from the looks of the paper and printing I would guess late 19 early 20th century, and surely a medical book. I just love the succinct graphic elegance of the diagrams, together showing the expansion (of both number of teeth and width of mouths to contain them!) over the first 25 years of ones life. To my sensibilities really quite perfectly done, and also evocative of the
