The wine they consider more classical in the range is the 2016 La Viña de Amalio
Rene Bouvier, Charmes Chambertin other_regions_australia The tannins are firm yet(from a ~. 30 ha parcel in Mazoyres). A beautifully layered mlange features notes of red and black pinot fruit, violet, earth, tea and a touch of forest floor. There is fine density to the quite powerful, dusty and robust bigger bodied flavors that terminate in a chewy, moderately austere and compact finale. This is very Mazoyres in character, but the balance is impeccable as is the development potential.
