Description
all wrapped in a strikingly long
300 bottles of this vintage were made
In 2011 it seems to have more of the former and a bit less of the latter
I tried a second bottle a couple of weeks later and it was as good or even better
Lucien Le Moine, Charmes Chambertin Vintage:2016 all wrapped in a strikingly(from both Charmes and Mazoyres in a roughly 50 50 proportion). Firm reduction dominates the fruit today though it does appear quite ripe. Otherwise there is excellent freshness to the racy and nicely detailed flavors that possess a velvety mid palate texture that contrasts somewhat with the crunchy and slightly rustic finale.
