Cool Old Green Striped Snake antique tea caddy (I like to picture it

(I like to picture it on the lapel of a white suit worn by our first woman president:)

It is in excellent condition and measures 8 1/2" across at handles

9" wide x 8 1/4" deep x 8 7/8" tall

It was made from a fairly thick slab of clay

Cool Old Green Striped Snake antique tea caddy (I like to picture itThis snake looks almost as if it is made of wood, but I think that it is old rubber a bit pliable, but fairly stiff. I think it's just fantastic, with these green painted stripes, inset beaded eyes, and tiny little red tongue. I have no idea of its origins, and found it at a flea market, but really could not love it more. It's surface shows some age, which just makes it all the better. 9" long x 2 1 2" wide x 3 8 thick.
