He and his brother Horace bought the UK agency of DFP cars in 1912, and called the company Bentley and Bentley. WO Bentley entered a number of events in a DFP 12 15 hp tourer, and broke a number of records at Brooklands. In 1919 he went on to found the company Bentley Motors Ltd.
