Vintage Folk Art Painted Chalkware Couple nude sculpture I am pretty certain thisI'm strangely obsessed with this one, in no small part because of the manner in which the bits of paint loss highlight the tips of noses and chins and toes making them both feel rather surreal, perfectly in keeping with their bright red lips and very pink skin and the way she, especially, was painted, with a very folky exuberance to her blouse and skirt and big green collar. Feels a bit like an oversized wedding cake topper and very much like a piece
