It contains abstracted elements from all the different trees to make a pleasing all over pattern. It is named 'Daphne' after the beautiful nymph who was turned into a laurel tree after rebuffing the advances of Apollo. These unique lamp bases are designed to go with her selection of lampshades. They are made of turned elm and produced especially for them in Sussex. Cressida
