I love a good pitcher, and this is to my sensibilities a perfect one great form, great weight, a joy to hold and pour from, and with this beautiful, interesting mottled glazing, which makes it feel as if it might have been around forever, but also feels really fresh. Handthrown of stoneware, it is signed (incised) on the bottom with what looks like "Joan", but I haven't been able
