Proud and Soulful Inuit Carved Soapstone Owl vintage usa mug This basket measures 4 1/2"I love how proud this Inuit carved soapstone owl seems, especially in profile, with chest puffed out as if standing (or perching) steadfast, not to be moved. Soulful as well as stoic though, as an owl is; quite a nice presence to have in proximity. 4" t x 1 7 8"" w x 1 1 2" d and in very good condition. Unsigned, c. 1970s or so I'd guess.
