We use this tool for crimping eyelet terminals to drum end of winch cables, and for terminal ends on electrical wiring from 6 gauge all the way up to 2 0 gauge. Simply lift spring loaded piston using the pin on the side, place the wire or cable with terminal end into "V" and whack the top of the piston with a hammer, hit it again if you're not sure it's tight enough!
