I'm not quite sure if these are French or Italian

but it definitely has a mid-century brutalist feel

Chunkily but very nicely carved, super smooth, with a great patina to the dry wood. All carved from one piece of wood with no notable chips, cracks or splits, and a very satisfying object I must say. 13 1 2" long x 1 3 8" wide and deep. Locks are about 2" long.
