but that wine is years from seeing the light of day

I really like the amount of dry extract here as it relegates the still firm tannins to the background and this should age effortlessly for years to come

Thick and fat to the point of being oily in texture

Bric del Fiasc is usually a massively tannic wine, but in 2000 the fruit has enough intensity to nearly cover the tannins. This is superb, great Bric del Fiasc. Antonio Galloni
